About Me

Education: I recieved my B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Connecticut and I am currently a Masters student in the Garcia-Robledo Lab at the University of Connecticut

Research Interests: I am interested in plant-insect interactions. Currently I am working with rolled leaf beetles that are usually linked to a specific host that are present in a variety of different hosts and demonstrate a great deal of morphological diversity. I am looking at questions related to host preference and evolutionary ecology in this system.

Publications: C. Garcia-Robledo, C.S. Baer, K. Lippert, V. Sarathy Evolutionary history, not ecogeographic rules, explains size variation of tropical insects along elevational gradients Func. Ecol., 34 (2020), pp. 2513-2523, 10.1111/1365-2435.13666
